At BUNGUBOX, we strive to deliver your ordered items as quickly and safely as possible.

 

Domestic Shipping (Within Japan)

  • Courier Service: Domestic shipments are handled via Yamato Transport.

  • Delivery Timeline: Items are typically delivered within 2 to 5 business days after ordering. However, it may take a few additional days due to force majeure circumstances (e.g., weather or traffic conditions). For delays occurring after shipment, please contact the courier directly.

  • Scheduled Delivery Date: You can request a specific delivery date starting from two business days after your order date. If you prefer the fastest possible delivery, please do not specify a delivery date.

  • Availability: Please note that depending on product inventory status, scheduled delivery dates may not be selectable for certain items. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Delivery Time Slots: You can specify your preferred delivery time slot from the following options:

    • Morning

    • 14:00 – 16:00

    • 16:00 – 18:00

    • 18:00 – 20:00

    • 19:00 – 21:00

Shipping Addresses

  • Items will be shipped to the delivery address entered at the time of order.

  • We may not be able to accommodate changes to the shipping address after the order is finalized. Please ensure your information—such as name, address, and phone number—is correct before placing your order.

  • If a package is returned to us due to incomplete address information, prolonged absence, or refusal of delivery, the customer may be responsible for paying the shipping fees required for re-delivery.


Shipping Fees

  • Shipping fees vary depending on the contents of your order, the destination region, and the shipping method. The final shipping cost can be confirmed on the checkout screen.

  • If the delivery address is in a remote area, an additional remote area surcharge may apply. In such cases, we will contact you separately via email.

Bank Transfers (Domestic Orders Only)

  • For orders paid via bank transfer, shipping procedures will begin as soon as payment is confirmed.

  • We kindly ask that customers cover any bank transfer fees.

  • If payment cannot be confirmed within 5 days, your order will be automatically canceled.

  • When making a bank transfer, please ensure your Order Number is clearly written at the beginning of the sender's name field.


International Shipping

  • Courier Service: International orders are shipped via DHL. Due to DHL's operating hours, shipments are processed Monday through Friday (excluding Japanese national holidays).

  • Duties and Taxes: When using international shipping, customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, and other additional costs may apply depending on the destination country or region. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Delays: Delivery may take longer than usual due to customs clearance procedures or local delivery conditions.

  • Information Format: Please fill out the recipient's name and address in English.

  • Commercial Invoices: A commercial invoice will be attached to all shipments outside of Japan. To comply with international import and export rules and regulations, we will not undervalue orders or alter the declared amount on the commercial invoice.

  • Changes/Modifications: Once an item has been shipped, we cannot accommodate address changes, content updates, or cancellations.

  • Order Limitations: Only one shipping address is permitted per order. If you place multiple orders prior to shipment, they will be combined and shipped together if they share the exact same shipping address.

  • Unforeseen Delays: Deliveries may be delayed due to regional factors, traffic, weather, or social conditions.

  • Returned Packages: If a package is returned to us due to prolonged absence or refusal of delivery, we will charge you for the round-trip shipping costs incurred, any customs duties generated during the return process, and the shipping fees required for re-delivery.


Combining Orders / Adding Items

Items can be added to an order only before it has been shipped. If you wish to add items, you must contact us via email at info@bungubox.pro.


Receiving Your Items

Upon arrival, please check the contents of your package immediately. If any items are damaged, missing, or incorrectly delivered, please contact us as soon as possible after arrival with your order number and photos clearly showing the condition of the items.

BUNGUBOX may not be held responsible for delays or delivery issues caused by shipping carriers, customs clearance procedures, weather, traffic conditions, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control. FAQ

Q. How many days does it take from payment to shipment?

A. In principle, items will be shipped within 5 days after payment confirmation. In the unlikely event that shipment is delayed, we will notify you by email.

Q. Can I cancel or change an ordered item?

A. Cancellations are possible as long as the item has not yet entered the shipping process. If you wish to change an item, it is only possible if the preferred item is in stock prior to shipment.

Q. Can I return or exchange an item?

A. Returns and exchanges are accepted only for unused items, provided that you contact us within one week after the package arrives at the designated shipping address.

  • Shipping fees and administrative handling fees for returns due to customer preference must be paid by the customer.

  • Return shipping fees for items with initial defects will be covered by BUNGUBOX.

  • Refunds for returned items will be deposited into your designated account within 5 days after we inspect and confirm the return at our shop.

What constitutes an "Initial Defect"?

  • Visible scratches or damage on the product body upon opening the packaging immediately after arrival. (Exchanges in this case require a photo taken immediately upon opening the packaging).

  • The product is inherently defective and cannot be used normally from the start.

Q. By when do I need to pay for my order?

A. Please complete your payment within 5 days of placing your order. If payment cannot be verified within 5 days, the order will be automatically canceled. If you anticipate difficulty making the payment within 5 days due to certain circumstances, please inform us in advance.

Q. What happens regarding product damage or defects caused by transport accidents or courier negligence?

A. Our shop does not assume liability for troubles that occur during transit.

Q. How long is the product warranty period?

A. For BUNGUBOX original fountain pens, the warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. For standard manufacturer products, the warranty is valid for the period specified on the manufacturer's warranty card.
