The Makie (traditional Japanese lacquerware) designs are meticulously hand-painted onto each individual ink converter—a captivating work of art in their own right!

While these are wonderful enhancements to your transparent barrel pens, you can even use them in regular barrels as a little secret of your own, knowing that the artistry of your very special pen extends to its inner workings...

This is a product unique to BUNGUBOX, where we offer a diverse range of designs throughout the year - from timeless classic Makie patterns to motifs inspired by seasonal scenes and Japanese traditions.

※ When inserting the Makie Converter into a fountain pen, for pens with long section necks, there is a chance of part of the design peeling off if it is rubbed forcefully against the inner walls of the grip section (neck). Please handle with care during installation.

This product is specifically designed to be used with Sailor's Profit Junior model. While it can be used with BUNGUBOX original fountain pens and various other Sailor fountain pen models, please note that specific models with long converter necks may hide a portion of the design from view.

※ For fountain pens made of ebonite with an urushi lacquer finish, humidity tends to build up more easily inside the barrel. Please be warned that this may cause the Makie design on the converter to peel or detach.
