New Moon (MUKU): The Sign of Beginnings

The sea, enveloped in pitch-black darkness.

The force of the new moon - emitting an invisible yet powerful energy that moves the tides, even though it cannot be seen.

This pen captures this silent inner strength through a black-lacquered new moon rendered in Wajima maki-e, surrounded by gently scattered gold dust on its outer edge.

The barrel depicts the quiet dynamic of a moonless night - the stillness pierced by unseen lunar tides.

The new moon marks the moment when all things are reset and new stories begin.

May this pen serve as a special instrument for writing the first chapter of your next new beginning.

※MAHINA is Hawaiian for "Moon", and MUKU is Hawaiian for "New Moon".  Nalu is Hawaiian for "Wave"
